PRINT COMPETITION NOTICE
 
 
 
EVERYONE entering may submit prints in any size
from 8”x10” to 20”x24” as long as the image size
is at least 80 square inches. 
 
This change was made to make it easier to submit to
Regional and National competitions.   In other words,
you no longer must be a Master Photographer to
submit prints in a format other than 16”x20”!
 
Remember, you save money by submitting via email.
Check the website for forms and rules. 

NEW PRINT AWARDS-
NEW AWARDS FOR VPPA

 This year we will be giving 3 new awards for print competition, the Polaroid Medallion Awards.  They will be awarded by the judges to prints scoring 80 or above in the following categories:  Portrait, Wedding, Illustrative.  The Illustrative category includes all of our categories that are not portrait or wedding.  Awarded prints will be eligible for a national level Polaroid award.  Polaroid will also have your permission to use your winning image in their advertising.   There are no restrictions on medium or type of camera used.   All entries to be considered must have a Polaroid label on the back.  These labels are below, on the website .
 
We are one of just a few states chosen to begin giving these awards, a great honor.  Good luck to all of you.
 
Here is another note: Kodak is giving only one award this year.  To win, an entry must score 80 or higher and have a Kodak label on the back stating which Kodak paper was used in making the entry.   That label will also be attached here .
