a little about Buck.....
Raised between Ohio’s rust belt and several parts of Appalachia, David “Buck” Buckwalter has had a camera in his hand since he was five years old. Primarily focused on high impact wall art, he enjoys finding beauty in the sublime and visual impact in unusual places.
As an avid traveler, Buck enjoys getting off the beaten tourist path and instead find his way to hidden gems waiting to be shared with the world, whether in war-torn Eastern Europe, across the United States, or even in his own local area of Virginia’s Appalachian Piedmont.
Despite being primarily self-taught, over the last few years he has turned his eye towards professional accolades and is a member of both the Professional Photographers of America and Virginia Professional Photographers Association. In the former, he was awarded the degree of Master Photographer, and in the latter, he has been recognized as a Fellow of Photography and consistently one of Virginia’s Top Ten Photographers since 2024.
