Image Competition 2021

February 18 & 19, 2021 Image submission is open as of December 15, 2020 for our VPPA February Competition. Go to https://www.printcompetition.com and enter the number of images you will enter and submit payment. Entry fees are $15 per image and you have the option to add $10 per image for a video critique. You can enter as many images as you like but only the top six eligible images will be considered for awards. Finished images must be uploaded by February 11, 2021. Entries are considered late if commitment and payment are received between January 16 and February 11, 2021. Images are accepted during this time period but the entry fee is $25. Camelot Theme Entries

We added something new at ImageFest-VA (Summer Seminar) this year that was fun and very well received. A theme competition to energize your creativity. In 2021 at PhotoConnect-VA (Convention) your entry must have a Crown or a Tiara in the image to go along with our Camelot Party Theme. PhotoConnect-VA 2021

2021 VPPA Annual Photography Convention February 20-22, 2021 SAVE THE DATES!! A mind blowing get-together to kick start your year into high gear. VPPA Members receive 3 Service Credits for attending the Full Convention as well as the chance to earn Image Credits for Image Competition Entries. PPA Members will receive a PPA Continuing Education Merit for full Convention Attendance as well as a PPA CEU for the Extra Day with Bob Coates.

NATURE, LANDSCAPTE AND WILDLIFE, From Pre-Capture to Post Production. Coates will share the thinking behind gathering images and the final output, the conversation will cover gear used and why. Coates favors the micro 4/3rds camera and lens systems of Panasonic and Olympus.
